the 798 art festival in beijing da shan zi 798 art district attracts 100000's of visitors every year.
the performance i did last saturday in dax artspace, inspired by "la peste" of litterature nobel prize awarded albert camus, describes the evolution from absurdity to revolution.
i'm starting cutting the books text and put it together into long brilliant stripes. meanwhile my mirror in the tv(mirror of the world) sings, reads and draws. suddenly the text stripes, describing all the bad in the world, starts wrapping first the tv, and then finally myself.
during all the performance a chinese girl reads the original french text with a strong asian accent.
