Wu Fei is classically trained on the guzheng, one of China's most ancient string instruments. Wu is a Beijinger but now lives in the United States, where she studied music and recorded her first solo album "A Distant Youth." On her China tour she improvises on the guzheng with other experimental musicians and in the courtyard of her family's Beijing apartment.
